University Project: Dynamic Data 2020
A short project that got us to consider both qualitative and quantitative data and how to display collected information and feed it back to the public. For this project I teamed up with a fellow student to examine the effects weather on people walking down Glasgow's Sauchiehall street. This lead us to a fun and 3D modelling project of creating digital interfaces on the pavement that resembled reflections in puddles.
We spent a few days taking field notes on the street.
Then came back to the studio and analysed our notes in a huge mind map.
I thoroughly enjoyed paper modelling in this project and learnt a lot from my fellow student about After Effects as we animated a short clip to show the digital interfaces working.
